Extended Warranty

At Terra Nova Motors Ltd., we realize the value and importance of your vehicle to you and try our best to keep repair costs and inconvenience to a minimum.  Unfortunately, since repair bills arise unexpectedly, many of us do not budget for them and face a substantial burden when they occur.  This is why an extended service contract becomes of utmost importance to our customers.

For customers whose vehicles have some original manufacturers (factory) warranty remaining, we offer extended service contracts backed by General Motors.  These General Motors Protection Plans (GMPP) use only Genuine GM parts and all repairs are performed by factory trained GM technicians.  Better still, the GMPP plans are valid at any GM dealership in Canada or the USA, which provides excellent peace of mind for customers taking long trips.  To make the plans even more affordable, they can also be purchased via a no-interest 12 or 18 month payment option*.  They are also transferable at the time you sell your vehicle, a fact that leads to higher resale values.

For customers whose vehicles are past their factory warranty, we also offer a wide array of extended service contracts ranging from basic power train, to cover the major components such as engine, transmission and drive axle, to a full and comprehensive Gold level coverage warranty blanketing not only major mechanical components but electrical and high tech options also.

Our warranties not only take out the risk of facing rising repair bills in the coming years (which rise with escalating labor rates, parts prices, and inflation annually), but also mitigate against the financial burden posed by an unexpected repair bill.   Most also cover substitute vehicle transportation while your vehicle is tied up, come with a meals and lodging allowance should a breakdown happen outside your home area, and include Roadside Assistance to help out when you've run out of gas, have a flat tire, need a jump-start, or are just plain stuck on the side of the road.
